Since Volant’s inception, Dan has worked in various roles with increasing responsibility. He was appointed President in 2013, after which he assumed the duties of CEO in 2018. Dan leads Volant’s executive team, drives the execution of corporate strategies, advocates for superior customer experiences and sustains Volant’s unique workplace community and culture.
Bill provides corporate and strategic oversight of the business and has since its inception in 2001. Bill previously served as CEO and President until he stepped down mid-2013 making himself available to mentor Volant’s management team when needed.
Bill spent the first 17 years of his career as a geotechnical consultant working primarily on hydrocarbon and mineral resource development projects. Bill served as Vice President of C-FER Technologies for 11 years before eventually joining a small group of colleagues to found Noetic Engineering in 1998 and subsequently, Volant Products in 2001.
Dan leads Volant’s consulting engineering subsidiary, Noetic Engineering 2008 Inc. He reaches beyond established engineering practices to advance the art of well construction, while enhancing well integrity and productivity. Dan has been devoted to professional involvement and technical contributions to SPE, CHOA and API.
Leanne provides leadership and oversight for all Corporate Services, which includes Accounting, Human Resources, Legal and Information Technology teams. She ensures operational support is aligned with the company’s strategic planning. She has managed the company’s finances through a period of rapid growth and a subsequent severe market contraction.
Brad manages Volant’s global marketing and sales operations and has responsibility for outward facing strategies. He provides high level input on market competitiveness, pricing, sales forecasting and revenue growth. Brad is focused on business development and the provision of integrated and effective solutions to customer challenges.
Martin is responsible for the management of Volant’s Experimental Services, Materials Engineering, Product Engineering, and Engineering Analysis groups, and ensures that these groups work together effectively. He is also responsible for managing Volant’s technology development portfolio.
Drew provides senior oversight to operations for Volant Oil Tools (US) Inc. in the Gulf Coast region and Permian Basin. He is responsible for driving growth by ensuring that tool rentals, training and comprehensive aftermarket products and services are available to serve the company’s customer base in the USA.
John oversees Volant’s operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. He provides leadership and vision to the operational team that aligns with and supports the company's strategic plan. Operational functions under his direction include: Field Services, Delivery, Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, and Facility Management.
Chris Della Mattia provides oversight to Product Line Management. In addition to stewarding mature product lines, his focus is to lead and drive our market awareness function that informs how we prioritize product-related initiatives and to ensure leaders within Volant are engaged with supporting our product line priorities.
Lorelei is responsible for recommending, developing, organizing, implementing, administering and maintaining the Human Resources programs, policies, procedures and initiatives. Developing appropriate practices and objectives, she fosters an employee-oriented, high performance culture which emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, continuous improvement. She is responsible for employee retention, development, and recruitment – all of which contribute to the ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Sheraly is a team-oriented manager who manages all aspects of the day-to-day corporate accounting functions and supports the preparation of Volant’s financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Her primary responsibilities include preparation of the year end IFRS financial statements for the annual audit, monthly closing process, customer billings, and reimbursements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and cash management, plus monthly reporting for budgeting and preparation of tax projections.
